The final lap

The 10 months of sweat, blood and tears has paid off. To conclude our long journey we had an exhibition of all our personal projects. Filled my booth with my art works and designs from the pass few months and years. The dress was designed by myself and my mom for my prom in 2010. Throughout these months, i've gained a lot of knowledge and even build up my character. I researched and studied about fashion trends and styles, learned to draw fashion figures and understood the hard work of a designer. Whilst, i grew being more independent and efficient in my process of work. Even during the exhibition, i came out of my comfort zone. Talked to people whom i never met and shared with them my process and my project. It gave me more courage and confidence to share with other my art work. The personal project may have ended but i would still like to post my art works in the journal.

#5 This was drawn during my mid years math examination. Since young, math has never been my forte. The drawing above tells a story. On the right side of the sun is buildings that we upright and strong (before i opened the math paper, i went into the examination hall feeling i could overcome this). On the left side of the sun is buildings collapsed (knowing i can't do this anymore, i gave up)

I draw when ever i feel down. It's as if it's my ticket to escape reality.
